We all know this. However, most people don't seem to know just exactly HOW unhealthy it is. <br />The fast food we eat has lots and lots of preservatives, and no nutrition. In fact, there are so many preservatives that after someone kept a McDonalds burger for 12 years, it still looked as fresh as new! Yeah, can you believe it?<br /><br />Karen Hanrahen has kept a McDonalds burger since 1996- that's 13 years now! And it still looks fresh as new. You wouldn't believe it. But that's exactly what the preservatives do to it. These burgers contain Calcium and Sodium Propionate, two ingredients that help avoid mold. I'll show you a picture now of the burger taken last year, meaning it was 12 years old at the time of the picture. It's crazy. I would never have known it was that old.<br /><center><img src="http://foodfacts.info/blog/uploaded_images/mcdonalds-1996-hamburger.jpg" border="0"></center><br />Doesn't look like it, does it?<br />It's really scary when you think of how unhealthy these foods can be. I think I'm going to lay off the junk food for a while.
